Synthesizers are mostly used to create bumping bass lines the heart of hip hop beats. But synths are also used to create percussive stabs, melodies and sound synthesis. In short they can modify any sound to countless variations. Synthesizers are like drum machines in that they can be used to create your own sound pattern or you can use a pre-recorded loop. If you're starting out in beat maker producing beats all you need is a computer and a beat making program. In many cases you don't even need a computer, just 1 piece of equipment. From my personal experience, there is no need to go out and buy truck loads of equipment for your new found beat making venture. Many people make the mistake of putting their rent money up for music equipment. I want you to go for your visions and dreams, but this is the worst way to go after them. Start little and increase as you go on. More information on this below.
And sin makes LOTS of money. I believe there are many people in the industry who want to do good but choose to support sin because they either lack courage or need the job. This problem is not a music issue but a moral, American issue.

This software has tons of instrument sounds, loops, drum kits, and sequenced sounds. You can make samples or completed songs with it. The BPM would be a powerful and versatile addition to your arsenal of beat making tools.

So if I get a song idea floating around in my head, I need to get it down right then before it floats away. That can get frustrating when you have to stop, maybe open up the program, and then open a new project. Figure out what folder the project should be saved in. Next you have to add a new audio midi or instrument track. Then pick a input channel. Then choose an instrument or sound. If it's an audio track, set the levels. Then set up a metronome click tempo...
I do not agree. Ministry comes in many forms...some just prefer one form of ministry over another. Also, I left Youth Pastoring because it was not my calling. I have the HIGHEST respect for Youth Pastors and what it takes to be one. But I love teens and through my non-profit media arts program, I am able to evangelize and mentor teens.
